We provide residents of the unincorporated County with every-other week mixed recycling collection service. Bi-weekly collection is alternated with green waste collection.
Residents can receive 30, 60 or 90-gallon mixed recycling container and can receive one or more additional mixed recycling containers for no additional charge. You may have received one of our new blue recycling containers, replacing the old style green recycling container with the green "Recycling" sticker.
ReCollect offers a variety of services. You can simply use the address search function to find out
your weekly collection schedule or you can sign up for weekly reminders via email or phone.
Your information is protected and used only for the purposes of providing waste collection service
Materials must fall freely from the container when dumped, so do not compact materials in the container. Containers may not be serviced if they are overfilled, are not accessible, or include inappropriate materials.
Unauthorized removal of recyclables from a curbside container is considered scavenging and is a crime pursuant to Section 6.20.160 of the Sacramento County Code. To report a recyclables scavenger, call the Sacramento County Information hotline at 916-875-5656 or TDD 916-875-7105. You can also report recyclable scavenging online.
Curbside Used Motor Oil, Cooking Oil & Oil Filter Recycling:
